Here at CLM, we are members of industry bodies such as: CPA, CHIG, IPAF and TTA, ensuring that we are up to date on current regulations & legislation, along with any potential future changes within the industry.

Further to this, being members of The Black Country Chamber of Commerce, has allowed us to offer construction industry insight and opportunities to other members of the chamber, and we have been recognised by the Chamber as Highly Commended in the Family Business of the Year category at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards 2022.

Exhibiting at Trade Shows has been a vital part of our success. We continue to exhibit at The Executive Hire Show, Vertikal Days, Speedy Expo and The Concrete Show to name but a few. These shows have enabled us to speak face-to-face with our customers, and to also create relationships with other hire companies that want to expand their fleet of equipment.

1996 - 2010 - Founded

CLM Construction Supplies was formed in 2010, after previously being known as IMER Direct. As IMER Direct closed, we took off where they left off, taking on the distribution of IMER Equipment, whilst introducing MABER Hoists to hire companies across the UK and Ireland.

2015 - Becoming The Leading Industry Supplier

After carefully developing relationships with the UK's most prevalent hire companies, we became the No.1 choice in Cutting, Lifting and Mixing equipment.

2019 - Growing The Team 

2020 - 2021 - Covid-19 & Overcoming The Pandemic

The year 2020, was an extremely difficult time. The whole world changed overnight. Many businesses experienced staff shortages and had to operate a ‘skeleton crew’ strategy. This worked extremely well for us. As the demand for equipment rose, so did the need to hire more staff.
